The pensions team is responsible for the overall management of the Mitchells & Butlers pension plans. They give input into the design of an important part of the employment package and ensure that the information needs of members and colleagues are met. They also manage risk for the Company and add value through the investment of the Plans’ assets. Lastly, they ensure that the Trustees are provided with the information and advice they need to manage the Plans in accordance with their Deed and Rules and with legislation.
David Shannon - Head of Pensions
David manages the outsourced service providers, project work and represents the department in multi-task teams. He also acts as Secretary to the Trustees.
Tracey Hughes - Pensions Administration Manager
Tracey is responsible for member queries, producing management reports, servicing the Discretionary Benefits Committee and maintaining membership records.
Julia Horton - Company Secretary Support & Communications Controller
Julia organises all pension communications, manages the Trustee Companies, organises Trustee meetings and is a reference point for the team.
Lee Miles - Pensions Controller
Lee is responsible for the management of the Plans’ assets, arranging the production of the Plans’ Annual Report & Accounts and recommending the selection and replacement of investment managers.
Mandeep Sidhu - Pension Accounting Analyst
Mandy is responsible for maintaining the accounting records of the Plans and the CIF, and for producing cash flow and investment performance reports.
