The Pension Service is part of the Department for Work and Pensions. The site provides useful information whether you are planning for your retirement or are already a pensioner.

OPAS - the Pensions Advisory Service OPAS can assist you by providing information and general advice on a whole range of pension issues. They can also give help and guidance to resolve company or personal pension issues.

The Pensions Regulator

The Pensions Regulator works to improve confidence in work-based pensions by protecting the benefits of scheme members and encouraging high standards of good practice in running pension schemes.

Pensions Ombudsman

The Pensions Ombudsman provide an impartial, efficient and effective method of resolving complaints and disputes concerning pension arrangements.

NAPF - The National Associsiation of Pension Funds

The National Association of Pension Funds is the principal body representing the interests of the employer-sponsored pensions movement. They provide their members with impartial guidance and expertise and represent member interests with government, regulatory bodies and the media.

Pension Protection Fund

The Pension Protection Fund's main function is to provide compensation to members of eligible defined benefit pension schemes, when there is a qualifying insolvency event in relation to the employer, and where there are insufficient assets in the pension scheme to cover the Pension Protection Fund level of compensation.
