Trustee Board appoints two new MNDs

In December 2025, we invited pensioner and employed members to apply to join the Trustee Board as a Member-Nominated Trustee Director (MND).

We had a great response to our call for nominations and received a high number of quality applications. We would like to thank everyone who applied.

After careful consideration, the Trustee Board decided to appoint two new MNDs instead of just the one needed to fill the vacancy. This brings the total number of MNDs on the Board to three, which will strengthen the Plan’s ongoing governance and ensure that quoracy requirements are met.

A huge congratulations to our two newly appointed MNDs: 

Zhana Borisova

Zhana has a really good knowledge of investments and a strong financial background. Her role at M&B requires her to focus on financial performance with social and investment responsibilities. Zhana’s skillset will be a great addition to the DC Committee to support with any future DC investment considerations. 

Bill Richford

Bill progressed from working in the kitchens to Head Chef and is now Head of Stock & Labour solutions. Bill’s experience means we can ensure the member perspective continues to be at the forefront of Trustee decision-making.

Zhana and Bill were appointed on 24 March 2026 for a five-year term.
